Asbestos

A mineral fiber found in rock formations which has been known to be a cancer causing material. Certain varieties do not burn and do not conduct heat or electricity and are often resistant to chemicals, they are used for making fireproof materials such as roofing, ceilings, electrical insulation. .The EPA and the Consumers Safety Commission have banned several asbestos products.
