Efficient Purchaser Index

Over time an expatriate learns to make purchases in the host country in a more cost-efficient manner than when he/she first arrives. External Cost of Living data suppliers provide an index that measures this change in purchasing behavior. This index may show this difference to be 5-10% less than the standard indices.
