Emergency Leave

This leave generally applies when (a) a close family member becomes seriously ill or dies in the home country or (b) the assignee or dependent family member resident in the host country requires medical assistance outside the host country or dies while abroad. Such situations require individual discretion, and companies normally establish their own guidelines for reimbursement of air fare or other travel expenses.
